Banboo Matcha Scoop/Chashaku

This is a bamboo spoon traditionally used for measuring matcha. In Japan, it is called a chashaku. One scoop of the chashaku holds approximately 1g of matcha.

For usucha, you would use 2 scoops.

 For koicha, you would use 3 to 4 scoops.
