The Bamboo Matcha Whisk(called 'Chasen' in Japanese)is a traditional tool that has been used for whisking matcha for over 500 years. Using it allows you to whisk the matcha into a frothy consistency. It is handmade from a single piece of natural bamboo. The production process involves boiling high-quality bamboo, aged 2-3 years, in hot water to remove the oil, then sun-drying it for about a month.
Afterward, it is left to rest for 2-3 years before being carefully shaped by artisans through handcrafting.
